Tips on Shopping
In these times of financial
crisis and everyone seems to in constant panic, it doesn't mean we
cannot continue enjoying our lives and feel good about ourselves. And
what better way to feel good than to look good. A primordial way of
beauty is the way you dress.
So in trying times like this, it doesn't necessarily mean we cannot go about our
usual lives like shopping. All we need to have some sort of a plan. And the plan is to look your
best this season and making the most out of your allocated budget. Below
are a list of suggestions one must consider before heading out to the
shopping mall:
List down your priorities.
By doing so, when you head
out to your favorite shopping destination, you will not have a hard
time in choosing which one to buy or not. As we have all experienced,
we spend countless of hours in the store choosing which of the three
you'd like to purchase. Only upon reaching the house regretting because
upon contemplating on your drive home, you still have almost the same
piece of clothing that will serve the same purpose. Knowing your priorities
will cut down your expenses but will greatly save you time inside the
mall.
Know you Store
We all have our own favorite
stores to do our shopping. These are the ones we most likely check out
everytime we hit the mall. As regular customers, we somehow have the
idea when it would be having its regular price drops or sale.
Everytime you feel like snagging that new pair of shoes off the shelf,
take a minute to ponder if there is an upcoming sale of the said store.
If you can still wait for a couple of days before purchasing, then by
all means, wait. It will definitely save you a couple of precious bucks.
Sleep it Over
We all have gone through the
same routine. We checked out an item we fancy, immediately bought the
stuff and upon arriving home, regretting buying the same. As my siblings
has always done, if we saw something we would really like to buy, we
try it on, see if it looks nice and comfortable, then leave the store.
If after a night's sleep, we still feel like buying the said clothing,
we go back to the store and buy it. We rarely experience regretting
buying. Try it, it works well for us, most probably it will on you too.
Accessorize & Mix-up
Shopping for new clothes doesn't
necessarily mean throwing out your old ones. You can still use the same
pieces of clothing but match them this time with a different ones. By
doing so, you can achieve different looks and styles. Pairing your mix-matched
clothing with new accessories will also do wonders.
Who says that life has to be
boring suddenly? We all just need to be smarter these days. But fun
nonetheless continues for us shopaholics.
